Why me:

I have designed, built and operated many software products, in startups and at Microsoft. I act as a player/coach, meaning I am hands-on with code and developer tools and methodologies, and I help my co-workers learn how to fish so they can do it themselves. I contribute as needed to the business strategy, project and product management, team-building, development methodology, architecture, and software (coding, quality standards, code review).

My Current Tech Focus:

  • Go-to toolkit: LLMs, Python, git, Postgres, AWS, Linear, VS Code
  • Past: JavaScript, React, Clojure, ClojureScript, MongoDB, Ruby, Rails
  • Next tech on list for experiments: Elixir, Gleam, Svelte

Approach:

  1. Message me and we’ll book some time to talk
  2. We identify biggest challenges and opportunities
  3. Allocate a block of hours per month, typically on a weekly recurring schedule, to work on top priorities
  4. Regular checkin + Slack
  5. Repeat until we have added enough value
